September/October are mainly without any rain at an average temperature around 20 °C (68 °F) at lunch time and around 10 °C (50 °F) in the night. Registration will be confirmed upon receipt of the online registration form. For organisational and cost reasons we appreciate at any time a note by email in case you need to cancel your participation.

Please note that cancellation of your accommodation applies to cancellation policy of the hotels and needs to be arranged directly to the hotels. EuroGeographics or/and BEV do not take any financial responsibility for your reservations in case of no-show or cancellation. Also the organisers do not take any responsibility for any loss or damage as a result of a cancellation/postponement of the General Assembly and shall assume no liability whatsoever during the event this conference is cancelled, rescheduled or postponed due to a fortuitous event, Act of God, unforeseen occurrence or any other event that renders performance of this conference impracticable or impossible. For purposes of this clause, a fortuitous event shall include, but not be limited to: war, fire, terrorism, labor strike, extreme weather or other emergency.

Participants are responsible to arrange insurances for individual health service, accidant, travel risks, liability against third parties e.a. on their own.

Programme and/or Social Programme items as announced, may be changed or cancelled by organizers without creating any right to indemnification or compensation. Social tours which are subject to an extra booking fee, will be reimbursed in case of cancellation by organisers upon low interest.

In the event of a dropout or shutdown of the website due to technical or organisational problems, no claims - irrespective of the type - may be asserted against the Organisers.

Privacy Policy

Registration data will be used for all kinds of organisational arrangements linked to the General Assembly and will not be disclosed to any third party who is not involved into organisational arrangements. The conference photo will be published on web without any additional request of confirmation by persons being visible on the photo.

The organisers do not take any responsibility for capture of data by third parties while being submitted by mail, fax or by telephone calls or from the relevant website.

All presentations will be uploaded for public access to the website of the event and to the website of EuroGeographics in pdf-format. In case you do not agree to this policy, please indicate this in an email to the Organisers in advance.

Publications

Participants generally agree to the publication of photographs as taken during the event and presentations given at the event on any website reporting about the event without individual pre-information.
